Hello? Is this thing on?

It’s been over two years since I last posted a blog. Mad to think that I spent so many years panicking about getting a post up before the stroke of midnight, about missing a day, and then…yeah. I kind of just stopped.

I don’t think there was necessarily anything that caused it. I just didn’t have much to say any more. And hell, it wasn’t as if I was posting world changing insights. The world did not stop turning just because I wasn’t throwing a stream of consciousness out there every single day.

But I was having a bit of a tidy this evening and found a letter that someone wrote me after I left Uni and it all sort of came flooding back.

So…I think I’m going to start blogging again. It definitely won’t be every single day, but maybe once a week? And as much as I have been writing these blogs for myself, I want you to learn something if you happen to come across them too.

Because I spend so much time on my phone (and live on my own (a pleasing rhyme, that)), I want to blog about my week through the medium of things I’ve searched on Google over the last 7 days. I look up things maybe three or four times a day whilst at work and then back at home. You know it’s been a good one if you’ve searched “how to take steroids safely for the first time” and bayonet lightbulb Wilko Plymouth” in the space of two hours. And no. I’m not telling you which one I had to search for work purposes. I’m sure I can furnish you with some utterly ludicrous stories on the way too.

It was a good outlet for my brain, and I think I’ve missed that. Let’s have some fun.

(If you think this is a good idea, cool, great. If you think it’s a horrible idea, byeeeeeee.)

So...what do you think?
