First World Problem #763

1 Oct

I have never had such an upsettingly disappointing trip to Primark as the one I had after work.

Normally, I can find a fair few things that look good and are affordable and then load my basket up.

Today was much the same, popping some new pieces for the next couple of months on top of a pair of shoes, and balking slightly at the price, because it’s too easy to spend far too much there.

Luckily for my bank balance, every single item is going back, and I’m really sad about it. Nothing looked right on – their sizing is all over the place, with most things being too big, and the cuts were ludicrous. Even their wide fit shoes (which would ordinarily be great for my wide feet) were too wide.

At least now I can put that money towards clothes that actually fit and flatter me as opposed to just hanging like sack cloth. Come back Dorothy Perkins, I am SORRY.
