Tech Support.

A big old chunk of my time at work today was spent on a phone, shouting at an automated system because I didn’t understand what it wanted from me. 

When I run the world (and it’s inevitable that it’s going to happen sooner rather than later) menus are going to be simplified, to the point where they don’t need to exist, and you’ll immediately get put through to an actual person that can help you out. 

So when I wasn’t on the phone trying to get someone out to fix a broken card reader, I was fretting about one of our SCO tills that went a bit weird, to the point where I thought it might have been remotely hacked. But after I was told not to worry about it I didn’t. Much. 

Here’s to tomorrow being a lot less tricky.
