12 Months More.

1 Jan

If you were here (here being “reading this blog”) back in 2012, you may remember that it was set up with the express intention of blogging daily for one year.

That happened successfully.

Then in 2013, I thought it would be fun to carry on, just to see if I could.

And I could. Or rather, did.

2014, and the year I considered stopping posting updates, simply because I kind of didn’t see the point of it any more.

As you can see from the archives, I didn’t exactly follow through with that minor self threat.

So that takes us up to now. To 2015.

Hello.

I’m back for more. Not necessarily back for good (a la Take That), but at least until the end of this year.

After all, the last three years were pretty well set out, what with being at Uni for 9 months of the year, then home for the other three (when I would just whinge 80% of the time).

2015 could not be more different. As it stands, the only consistent things about my life are that a) I live at home and b) I go to work on Sundays.

So that leaves 6 days of the week for self improvement, and learning to do all the things that an almost 24 year old woman should do.

Things like driving (February is earmarked for that, so other road users watch out), learning to cook proper food, working towards my TEFL qualification (excited about that one, as it opens up a stack of opportunities for travel once I’ve completed it) and taking up classes to generally just improve myself. Dance classes have already been looked into and new shoes will be purchased sooner rather than later.

So I suppose this year’s blog will be more about charting my change from a graduate into a young woman who is taking on the world in her own inimitable style.

But be assured that I’ll still be doing stupid things and being a knob along the way. Promise.
