Cut Adrift.

26 Dec

There’s something strangely liberating about having a phone that has no battery in it.

I mean, you have absolutely no idea what’s going on in the world, so are left to float around in a kind of blissful ignorance and it’s actually lovely.

Today at work was absolutely bonkers.

I’ve long thought that if we weren’t actually open on Boing Day, people wouldn’t be particularly bothered, but because we are, it’s a good excuse to shop to their heart’s content. And believe me, there were some extremely contented hearts.

Tonight is all about veging out on the sofa in my onesie, under a blanket, watching Avengers Assemble. (Never mind the fact I forearned my parents about “mewling quim”) and I am EXCITED.
