Kid Gloves.

Back in my day, they had pantomimes that were proper.

Now though, they have baffling stories, unrelated songs and guys I think are kind of hot, only to learn they’re 20 years old, rendering me feeling a bit awkward.

But you know what? They’re still pretty fun.

There’s something nice about that amount of escapism for a couple of hours, especially when you can just focus on all of the filthy jokes in the script, rather than the storyline. It did make me kind of miss doing all the theatre stuff I used to whilst at school. A year didn’t go past without me being in a play or musical, and now I’m itching to get back into it. I just don’t have the time, and that’s a little bit depressing. Just let me do a step ball change in an ill fitting dress, that’s all I ask.
