Edinburgh Fringe June

Well, England went and lost. What a shame.

I’ve been attempting to clear out my bedroom today, so I can move back in properly for these next 5 weeks. I say attempting, because what happened was what always happens when I try and tidy. I end up finding things in the first box I open that render the rest of the mess uninteresting, and get completely sidetracked.

This time around, I found the box of all my Fringe tickets/flyers/paper clippings from the last two years. It’s weird that bits of paper can hold so many memories. It’s even weirder to think that in just over a month I’ll be doing it all again. What I also found was THIS piece of art.

A Mona Lisa for the 2000’s.

It’s a drawing Jon Richardson did during the run of shows GIT (the joint project he did alongside Dan Atkinson and Lloyd Langford) performed at the Fringe in 2010. I’m not really sure what to do with it, as it’s a pretty big canvas. I might well take it back to Cheltenham in September and put it above my fireplace, like people used to do in big country mansions.

As a side note; Do you know how difficult it is to type whilst wearing a wrist brace with a metal plate down the middle? REALLY DIFFICULT.

So...what do you think?
